Last night saw us DJ for a lovely couple, Jamie and Suz at the Channels Golf Club, Chelmsford in the Essex Barn Suite.

Arriving early in the day at 10am to set up, we met with the event manager and discussed all the basics, where to set up, fire restrictions and general running of the evening.

We were using our standard wedding set up and unfrotunately we were not asked to uplight the venue, which would have looked stunning. The venue itself, I assume is a converted barn! But has a huge ceiling with wooden beams and lovely interior.

Once set up, sound tested and lights positioned I headed home to update out laptop with the couples song requests. These included Living on Prayer, Dancing Queen, Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor, Party Rock Anthem and many more.

The couple first dance was a song by Train called Marry Me, which half way through we invited the couples family and guests to join them.
