Saturday night saw us DJ for a family friend's wedding in Margaret Rhoding. The Venue was called 'The Reid Rooms' and it happened to be the first time we had DJ'd there. We arrived early as we had uplighting requested too which requires a bit longer to set up - we also had a debut performance from a new KAM Lighteo 252 which we used as a backlight for our DJ booth.
Package selection was our usual set up, 2 x RCF ART 312a Speakers, Denon DNX-500 Mixer, SDJ2, PCDJ VJ and our standard lighting rig. We comforatbly filled the room with sound and light and began the night after the Bride and Grooms first dance - Say (All I Need) by One Republic. The music selection was a mix of new songs to start with moving to some older party classics and a few indie tracks towards the end. We had a few special requests that went down well last night, such as;
- Maroon 5 - Moves Like Jagger
- Basement Jaxx - Romeo
- Blink 182 - All The Small Things
- Final song of Bon Jovi - Livin' On A Prayer.
